Joining us all the way from Florida is Angela Thurston, aka "The Drum Medic"! "Drum Medic is about the drum being the medic. It's like Witch Doctor. You're not a doctor to the witch. The witch is the doctor. I'm not a medic to the drum. The drum is the medic to us. It brings us healing and joy.
Yes, there are many drum medics around. Each for their own reason. I use the heartbeat in the drum to show the healing begins within. I'm simply a mechanic. I don't see myself as the witch doctor."
