A Love-Filled Journey: Meet Michael and Grace

As we continue building the Rhythm & Vibe Fest Retreat 2025, I want to take a moment to honor two of our beautiful partners in this vision—Michael and Grace.

At the end of April, Michael and Grace celebrated a major milestone in their journey together: they got married! It’s a blessing to witness such love and commitment blossom in real time, and I’m so grateful to walk alongside them as part of this community.

We, the Djobis, have known Michael for some time now, drumming with him at the Michigan Renaissance Festival in Holly, MI. If you haven’t met Michael yet, get ready to be amazed. His musical talent is nothing short of breathtaking—drumming, harp, didgeridoo, voice harmonics—he does it all. He’s also an incredible father.

Then there’s Grace. From the moment I met her, I knew she was something special. Now, as I’ve had the joy of getting to know her better, I can say with full heart: she is a powerhouse of love, creativity, and grounded energy. An amazing mother and a talented graphic artist, Grace is the creative force behind many of the beautiful flyers, frames, and designs you’ll see for the Retreat. She even launched her own clothing line recently, all while caring for little Ivy, their teething baby girl—something many of us parents know comes with its own set of sleepless nights and shared tenderness.

Through all of life’s wild rhythms, we somehow found each other to co-create this dream.

So when you come to Rhythm & Vibe Fest Retreat 2025, make sure to find a moment to meet Michael and Grace. They’re not just part of the team—they’re part of the heartbeat.
